Throughout the year, Macaroni Kid brings you the scoop. Now it is YOUR turn to tell us YOUR family’s top go-to choices. We want to know about the businesses that make your life easier as a parent! Let’s make this a FUN way to highlight the wonderful local businesses that make Carver County a fabulous place to live, shop, eat, and play!
How Do You Get Started?
From now through October 8th, simply nominate your favorite businesses! Nominate as many or as few businesses as you would like. Businesses must be located in Carver County. Only one submission per email address please; you must be a subscriber to the newsletter to nominate. You can subscribe here.
What's In It For You?
Nominate your favorites and you will be entered for a chance to win a $25 gift card to a local business of your choice, compliments of Macaroni Kid Carver County. Must nominate a minimum of 5 business. Vote for a minimum of 5 business and you can enter for a second $25 gift card.
What's In It For The Businesses?
We will announce the winners of each category on November 14, 2018. The winning business in each category will receive a free 12 months in our Business Directory for yearlong recognition in our Macaroni Kid newsletter, a 2018 Macaroni Kid Gold Daisy Awards certificate to display at their place of business, and the honor of knowing that local Carver County area families think they are the greatest! Are you a business owner? Feel free to promote this contest to your loyal customers on your own customer lists, website, and social media!

Please include business name and location. We know there are great business with multiple locations, but we would like to recognize the staff that goes above and beyond. Click below to enter your picks. The top 5 in each category will be selected for the voting round.

RULES: Only one submission per email address. The nomination period will run from Sept. 19, 2018 at 9:00 AM through Oct. 8, 2018 at 11:59 PM. The voting period will run from Oct. 14, 2018 at 9:00 AM through Nov. 4, 2018 at 11:59 PM. All eligible persons nominating and voting in the 2018 Macaroni Kid Carver County Gold Daisy Awards will be entered to win a $25 gift cards to a local Carver County business of their choice. There will be a winner for nominating and a winner for voting. Winner will be selected from all eligible entries using an online voting system. Winners will be notified by email and will have 48 hours to claim the prize. You MUST be a subscriber and over 18 to nominate and vote.
