2021 kiddywampus Chanhassen Summer Camps
Summer camps will take place in the party room (being built into the space in May).
Princess & Fairy Camp (ages 3-5 years): Mon, 6/21 - Wed, 6/23, 9am-noon
We’ll learn about Elsa, Anna, Tinkerbell and all their friends in this glittery camp. Each camper will create princess/fairy wands, crowns and puppets. We will dance to music, hear princess and fairy stories and make an enchanted castle to take home!
Ultimate Unicorns (ages 4-6 years): Mon, 6/21 - Wed, 6/23, 1-4pm: Join us as we enter the land of rainbows and unicorns! Take an adventure into the magical world of colorful dreamcatchers, unicorn headpieces, and rainbow jewelry. Sparkles and glitter galore!
Sensational Science (ages 3-5): Thurs, 6/24 - Fri, 6/25, 9:00-noon
Inspired by Sid the Science Kid, we’ll take a turn being a scientist! Explore glowing ice, make clouds rain and watch lava erupt from a volcano! Bring your creative mind for an exciting time of science experiments that you will want to share with your friends!
Super Slime (ages 4-6): Thurs, 6/24 - Fri, 6/25, 1-4pm
Come ready to make some cool concoctions like slime, marvelous mud and puffy paints! Get ready to get messy at camp. You will bring home all the mixtures you make along with recipes to keep the fun going for hours!
Build a Fort Camp (ages 4-8 years): Mon, 6/28 - Wed, 6/30, 9:00-noon
One of our favorite camps each summer, led by owner Amy Saldanha – campers will each receive a giant cardboard box and tons of other supplies to build the fort of their dreams. The sky’s the limit when our imaginations are engaged—we’ve seen restaurants, dino lairs, pet shops, space ships...what will you create?! Campers will take their own epic fort home with them at the end of camp. (Note: this camp is very open-ended depending on the campers’ ages & interests.)
Green Thumbs Camp (ages 3-5 years): Thurs, 7/1 - Fri, 7/2, 9:00-noon
Come learn about planting and create your own portable greenhouse! Design colorful flowers along with having opportunities to play in the dirt. Pocket gardens and nature sensory bags are sure to please young gardeners!
LEGO Camp (ages 4-6 years): Thurs, 7/1 - Fri, 7/2, 1-4pm
We will build with LEGO and have daily LEGO challenges! Art activities with LEGO will be in abundance each day. Creating LEGO slime will be a fan favorite! Who knew you could do so many things with LEGO?
Daniel Tiger Camp (ages 3-5 years): Mon, 7/5 - Wed, 7/7, 9:00-noon
We’ll recreate the magical world of Daniel Tiger and his friends O the Owl, Katerina Kittycat, Prince Wednesday and Miss Elaina. We’ll discover how we can all be helpers and make fun-time spinners the whole family can enjoy!
LEGO Build a City Camp (ages 4-7 years): Mon, 7/5 - Wed, 7/7, 1-4pm
We’ll use cardboard to create a miniature city and LEGO to build all the transportation. We’ll plan what we want in our city (past cities have included space rocket launch pads, zombie arenas and time travel centers) and get busy designing the perfect city of our dreams!
Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends Camp (ages 3-5 years): Thurs, 7/8, - Fri, 7/9, 9:00-noon
Join Thomas, Percy, Henry and Sir Topham Hat on the Island of Sodor for adventure and mayhem. We’ll create our own Thomas costumes, help Thomas find his way home and play train games the whole family will enjoy!
Spirit Horse Camp (ages 4-6 years): Thurs, 7/8, - Fri, 7/9, 1-4pm
We’ll travel to Miradero to meet Lucky & Spirit, Pru & Chica Linda and Abigail & Boomerang. We’ll make our own horse to take home, play games inspired by Spirit and adventure together in the wild west!
Paw Patrol Camp (ages 3-5 years): Mon, 7/12 - Wed, 7/14, 9:00-noon
Calling all Paw Patrol fans -- Ryder needs our help! We will make puppy masks, shields and paw prints. Join us in the Paw Patrol Search and Rescue and hear stories about your favorite Paw Patrol friends!
Calling All Superheroes Camp (ages 4-6 years): Mon, 7/12 - Wed, 7/14, 1-4pm
If you’re a fan of Spiderman, Batman, Wonder Woman or any other superhero friends, this camp is for you! Make your own cape, mask and shield. Create your own superhero puppets. Learn about your own superhero powers and how all of us can change the world together!
Pete the Cat Camp (ages 3-5 years): Thurs, 7/15 - Fri, 7/16, 9:00-noon
Join the coolest cat in town as we make our own groovy buttons and magic sunglasses. We’ll check in on Pete’s friends Turtle, Callie and Owl and each camper will create their very own Pete the Cat puppet to take home!
Pinkalicious Camp (ages 4-6 years): Thurs, 7/15 - Fri, 7/16, 1-4pm
Come to Pinkville with us and explore the world of Pinkalicious! We’ll make tiny fairy houses, decorate our ideal cupcake (out of clay) and imagine the perfect playdate!
Doc McStuffins Magical Camp (ages 3-5): Mon, 7/19 - Wed, 7/21, 9:00-noon
We’ll spend 3 days in the imaginary world of Doc -- where we are all helpers! We’ll help “mend” toys, adopt stuffed pets and learn how to take care of them, and recreate Doc’s magic stethoscope to take home with us!
LEGO Star Wars Camp (ages 4-6 years): Mon, 7/19 - Wed, 7/21, 1-4pm
Rey, Yoda, Obi Wan Kenobi and the rest of the Rebel Alliance need your help! We’ll build Jedi ships, learn offensive and defensive moves with training light sabers* and complete speed and agility training. (*campers will learn light saber moves; they will not fight each other)
Blues Clues Camp (ages 3-5 years): Thurs, 7/22 - Fri, 7/23, 9:00-noon
Join Blue for a very special camp. We’ll meet at the Thinking Chair each day as we decorate our very own Handy Dandy Notebooks and solve mysteries based on clues we’ll find each day!
Camp Madagascar (ages 4-6 years): Thurs, 7/22 - Fri, 7/23, 1-4pm
Join Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria for an epic worldwide adventure! We’ll make animal hats, create our own penguin habitats and stay cool like the animals do!
Dino Train Camp (ages 3-5 years): Mon, 7/26 - Wed, 7/28, 9:00-noon
We’ll join Buddy, our favorite T-Rex, and ride a time travel train to meet, explore, and have adventures with all kinds of dinosaurs. We will make dinosaur eggs, fossils, masks and hats in this pre-historic camp. Put on your imaginary paleontologist goggles as we go on a Dino Dig!
Trolls Camp (ages 4-6 years): Mon, 7/26 - Wed, 7/28, 1-4pm
We pinky promise you won’t find a brighter, more sparkly camp this summer! We’ll make our own Trolls doll and accessories, groove to a daily dance party and create the glitteriest slime you’ve ever seen!
Thomas the Tank Engine Camp (ages 3-5 years): Thurs, 7/29 - Fri, 7/30, 9:00-noon

If you like diggers, backhoes and concrete mixers, this camp is for you! Each camper will create their own construction site complete with levers, pulleys and other simple machines. We will build bridges, buildings, skyways and invent our own designs.
Octonauts Underwater Adventure Camp (ages 4-6 years): Mon, 8/2 - Wed, 8/4, 1-4pm
Explore the ocean depths with your favorite underwater friends as we learn about the underwater world. We’ll make crafts, play the silliest games and more!
Pete the Cat Camp (ages 3-5 years): Thurs, 8/5 - Fri, 8/6, 9:00-noon

Pricing: 3 days camps are $109/child, 2 day camps are $75/child
What should I bring to camp?
- a peanut-free snack or two and drink
- dress for a mess; we use washable materials but they may not come out of fine fabrics
- a change of clothes if your child is prone to accidents
The details (staffing, cancellations, etc):
- Each camper will receive a temperature check and symptom inquiry each day; kiddywampus will adhere to MDH COVID regulations.
- Camps will take place in our party room (with side trips to the restroom)
- Each camp will have a maximum of 6 campers.
- Each camp requires 5 participants to run. We will notify campers one full week before the camp is scheduled to run if the minimum number of participants is not met.
- Cancellations received 4 or more weeks before the start of camp will receive a full refund. Cancellations received 2-4 weeks before the start of camp will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations received less than two full weeks before the start of camp will receive no refund, but will be issued a credit towards a future camp.
- Should COVID restrictions increase, not allowing us to run camps, each camper will be notified immediately and a full refund will be processed.
- Campers must be potty-trained; we are happy to remind campers (often) to go to the bathroom.
- All camps are drop-off. If a parent or caregiver wishes to stay, they may do so as long as they participate with their campers.
- If your child has allergies or special needs, please let us know so we can provide a great camp experience to every child!
