E.P. Lions Announce a New, Schooner Days, Family-Friendly Market Fair

with 50+ Vendors

The Eden Prairie Lions Club is setting the stage for an even bigger and better Schooner Days this year that now includes a Family-Friendly Market Fair with over 50 vendors to shop. Attendees will discover delicious specialty foods, “insane ice cream creations”, gifts, crafts, art, jewelry, clothing, accessories, wood craft, pottery and even kids face painting and faux tattoos.

“There is something for all tastes, ages and pocketbooks at this Market Fair”, said Terry Eggan, President of the EP Lions Club. “Of course, we will have all the wonderful Schooner Days attractions that the community has enjoyed in past years as well.” Eggan said. All proceeds go to charity. Service projects the Eden Prairie Lions Club contributes to financially include, MN Lions Gift of Sight Eye Bank, MN Lions Hearing Foundation, Can Do Canines (Service dogs.), and True Friends Camp Eden Wood (Special needs children’s camp.)

Eden Prairie Schooner Days has been the largest event in E.P. history for over 60 years. The three-day event is held at beautiful Round Lake Park. Besides the Market Fair, a variety of other Schooner Days attractions will be there. Carnival rides, Children and Adult Midways, Games of skill & Food trucks. Bingo, Ice Cold Beer, Wine, Seltzers, Pull Tabs under the Big Top, and much more. Courtesy shuttle from Community Center & High School lots and handicap parking. There will be a courtesy shuttle from parking at the Community Center and a handicap parking and drop off area at the tennis courts.

The EP Lions men and women are committed to serving and improving our community and the lives of deserving individuals of all ages. We are active volunteers developing our own leadership skills through a variety of fund-raising projects. Proceeds from this event will go to charities, foundations, and community initiatives. Lions Club is a 501(c)(4), although a donation could possibly be a business expense it cannot be a charitable deduction.
