Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical JR at Stages Theatre from 4/19-5/19

April 1, 2024

Stages Theatre Company (STC) is thrilled to announce the cast of Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical JR. Rebellion is near in this gleefully witty ode to the anarchy of childhood and the power of imagination. With the help of the students at her new school, Matilda’s about to teach some grown-ups that ‘even if you’re little you can do a lot’. Matilda JR celebrates the power of young people to change their own stories.

Matilda JR is recommended for everyone ages 5 and older and will be presented in the Mainstage Theatre. This high-energy, fast-paced, family favorite musical teaches young people, ‘nobody but me is going to change my story!’ as we watch Matilda stay true to her beliefs and stand up for what’s right.
